For those Scouts going to John Wesley Ranch (situated directly next to Mueller State Park in Divide).
-We will meet at 7 am on Saturday Morning in the Church Barn Area (BREAKFAST WILL BE AT CAMP) a light morning snack is recommended at home or for the drive (Wear Class A uniform)
-We will return Sunday after having Lunch in camp – back at the Church around 2:30pm
-We will be taking the Troop trailer (scouts may want to bring a camp chair)
-Food/meals is by Patrols (cooking stove & utensils provided by Troop; you will need a mess kit and eating utensils (Food can be stored in a cooler with ice (block ice recommended) if needed)
-Tents are per Troop equipment, bring a sleeping pad / sleeping bag and clothes for cooler temps and possible rain
-Outhouse available on Site
-Pack as if backpacking (sleeping bag can be separate if too bulky for the pack: also bring a day pack for a Hike (remember your water bottle(s)& appropriate Shoes / boots)
-Scouts will continue working on rank advancement (bring your Book, paper pencil) and Scout Skills
-All scouts will attend a leadership training session with Tom Sharp & Jim Brinkman
-All Scouts will attend an introduction to public/group speaking with Floyd Studebaker & Jim Brinkman
-Each scout should have a Flag Ceremony written out in which he will take his turn in leading (be creative and patriotic) at meal times / mornings and evenings
-Evening program by to be written out by MC – patrols be ready with skits/jokes/stories
-Patrol Leaders bring the DUTY ROSTER filled out and give to the Senior Patrol Leader to be posted
-Senior Patrol Leader to meet with adults upon arrival to plan activity timeline
