We didn’t have enough interest for Water World, so the boys changed this month’s outing to a pool party at Kissing Camels club.
Day: Saturday, Jul 13
Time: 10 a.m to 2 p.m.
Admission: $5
Lunch: bring your own or about $15 for snack bar.

More Information: To get to the pool, drive to the round about on Mesa Road, just north of Mesa Road and Fillmore. Turn East and go through the gate. Tell the gate guard you’re attending the Swanson’s pool party. Stay on the road for as long as you can. You’ll drive past the golf course, past some homes and town homes, and then come to the rec center.
When you get to the rec center, tell the lifeguards that you’re with the Swansons. You can pay cash there. If you want to use your scout funds, save your receipts and submit to Kathy Kaelin.
Bring bathing suit, towel, swimming goggles, tennis shoes, parent permission slip.
We’ll be doing some fun games like canon ball contest, swim race, and maybe some basketball.
