Meeting: Troop 287 Committee Meeting

In attendance:
Jon Ullmann, Jonathan Weston, Sandy Johnston, Andrea Warner, Lisa Woodard and Tom Sharp.
Sandy Johnston – Committee Chair
- Called the meeting to order
- Committee discussed the transfer of the Advancement Chair position
- Decision made to move the Court of Honor (COH) to September 15
- COH will be an Ice Cream Social
- Boys should arrive for set up at 5:30 pm; ice cream 6:30; COH 7:30 – 8:30
- Will look at new locations for next year’s Summer Camp
- All adults assisting with Scout activities need to complete their Youth Protection Training – 20 minute online training
Jon Ullman – Scout Master
- Boys will have elections at next week’s meeting
- September activity: Lazy Camp here at the church around the 18th or 25th
- October activity: Stanley Canyon backpacking trip
- November activity: Dino Death March, Paint Mines or other hike out east
Andrea Warner – Treasurer
- Monthly reconciliation report handed out and reviewed by members
- Discussed Scout accounts
- Reviewed with Sandy the Flag fundraiser earnings
- Ashley Perry is our new Troop Fundraising Chair
Tom Sharp – Charter Representative
- Troop lean-to next to barn has been demolished
- Barn and Troop supplies need to be organized
- Need a tarp to put over the lashing poles
Lisa Woodard – Secretary
- Franklin’s Eagle project work day is this weekend August 15th and August 16th, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
