We will have an activity night at the USAFA prep school pool on Tuesday, 2 June, from 7:15-10:30pm.
For scouts going on the summer canoe trip, we will have canoe training to prepare for this event and complete requirements for the canoeing merit badge. Other scouts will have an open swim and can use the pool toys at the pool.
We will meet at WUMC for rides at 7:15 pm. It’s a rather late night, so be prepared to return at about 10:30 p.m. We have to complete the canoeing events after the pool closes to other swimmers and we have the pool to ourselves from 8-10 pm.
Bring swim trunks, towel, swimming goggles (optional).
Cost is $3.50 for scouts (exact change please). No cost for adults unless you want to get in the pool.
Important: I need 2 additional drivers and 3 adults with USAFA access (mil/civ ID or pass) to make this happen. These can be the same person (driver and ID holder). If you can drive and/or can come along with an ID/pass please e-mail me ASAP and I’ll put together the transportation plan.
